In late 2007 we took on the unusual project of crafting a fully timber framed second floor and roof system for a new home in Cincinnati OH. What made this project especially unusual was that all materials used were salvaged from existing historic buildings in the Tennessee and Indiana area, and the timber frame roof system perches atop log cabin walls, giving the finished space an extremely "lodge like" feel. This project is a fine example of our design and built-to-suit capabilities, since the log walls were constructed by another contractor before we ever met the client.
