As significant structures age, it is a challenge for State & Federal agencies, as well as individuals, to know how to care for them. Lack of information, confusing information, and misinformation from poorly informed individuals can spell disaster for a historic structure. It is our purpose and mission to provide information and services that will help ensure our irreplaceable heritage is properly cared for.

Through years of dedication to research studying intact historic buildings, in-situ and ex-situ repairs, full disassemblies, and reconstructions, we have learned an immense amount. In many cases, our hands-on experience with American historic structures has provided us with an education that now far exceeds any recorded information available in books and other publications.
